Joan Brown

My name is Joan and I wanted to say how grateful I am for the help that Jill's Wish grant has given me. I am at the beginning of my fight with Breast Cancer and was having anxiety over the thought of how I would be able to make it financially. I am the income for my family due to my husband being disabled and I had been off of work already twice this year due to a tumor on my pituitary gland and a knee surgery; before those my husband was hospitalized at the beginning of the year due to a staph infection from a surgery he had gone through a week or somprior. I was already financially challenged and trying to recover when I found out about my cancer and the journey and hardships I would now go thru both physically, emotionally, and yes also financially. I was mentally exhausted over the fact that not only was I sick, but that it may also cause me to eventually lose my home. The social worker at the hospital spoke with me and told me of the possibility of getting help with the grant from Jill's Wish. Without this grant, I would not have been able to begin my fight without the turmoil of financial consequences right From the beginning. I have been given the gift of more time to work out my financial obligations. From my family and myself, we are deeply grateful and Thankful for Jill's Wish.

Sincerely Thankful,
The Brown Family

Jills Wish helped me and my son out so much. Through this journey with Stage 2 Breast Cancer, Jills Wish allowed 2 months witout needing to worry about financial problems. It allowed me to focus on my health. I am very grateful for Jills Wish and with donations they will be able to help other families. I would like to thank the people at Jills Wish and to the people making the donations, both are truly a blessing.

Thanks,

Robin Blakley
